The Women's Network on APC

The women's network on APC is a community of individuals and organizations using computer technology to advance the interests of women worldwide. The women's network is a part of APC, a non-profit computer system that has been helping the peace, social justice and human rights communities throughout the world communicate since 1986. The Women's Network is playing an active role in both the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) 1994 and the World Conference on Women (WCW) 1995. In partnership with member networks of the Association for Progressive Communications (described below), The Women's Network has developed a training and information program to enhance women's involvement before, during and after these important conferences.
